
SPICY Tailgate Smash Burgers

Ingredients
For the Smash Burger
- 1 lb. Ground Beef (80/20)
- 1 tbsp. SPICY AF
- 4 Pepperjack Cheese Slices
- 3 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
For SPICY AF Candied Bacon
- 1 lb. Thick Cut Bacon
- 3 tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp. SPICY AF
For SPICY AF Aioli
- 1 c. Mayo
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 tsp. Prepared Horseradish
- 1 tbsp. SPICY AF
Other Stuff
- 4 Potato Buns
Instructions
For SPICY Tailgate Smash Burger
- Turn skillet to medium-high heat. Place 1/2 tbsp. Butter in skillet. Allow to melt.
- While heating, add SPICY AF to Burger meat and make 1/4 lb. meatballs.
- Once skillet is to temp (Butter beginning to brown), place ball into skillet seasoning side down. Allow to sear for 1 minute, then SMASH!
- Let sear for another 3 minutes. Flip Burger and place cheese on top instantly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
For SPICY AF Candied Bacon
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- While oven is preheating, lay Bacon on baking sheet. Coat Bacon with Brown Sugar and sprinkle SPICY AF on (adjust amoutn based on heat you want!). Place in oven once preheated. Flip after 10 minutes. Season more with Brown Sugar and SPICY AF. Cook for another 7-10 minutes.
- Pull and rest.
For SPICY AF Aioli
- Place all ingredients into bowl. Mix until evenly incorporated.
For The Stack
- On Potato Bun, spread SPICY AF Aioli onto bottom bun.
- Add Burger and top with SPICY AF Candied Bacon.
- MUNCH!
Notes
- For additional spice do one of two things…OR BOTH!
- 1) Add more seasoning to Burger mixture, Bacon, and/or Aioli.
- 2) Sprinkle raw SPICY AF on to top of Burger!
- Add Fries to the side…seasoned with SPICY AF
