



Everyone always talks about Pulled Pork when talking about shredded meats. While Pulled Pork is the shit, you have things like Pulled Chicken (CLICK the red for the recipe!) and Slow Cooked Shredded Beef! Don’t get me wrong, those other 2 meats are very versatile, this beef really got my creativity going!
Slow Cooked Shredded Beef
The awesome thing about this recipe (YOU’LL BE GETTING WAY MORE THAN ONE RECIPE IN THIS POST!) is that it is almost a “Set it and forget it.” The 2 recipes (for the meat) I’ll shove in your face today are going to take a few hours to make but you don’t have to pay attention at all. In all honesty, this shit is SOOOO simple but, the product won’t show that at all.
Obviously, the picture above shows the smoked version. Overall, it took 4 hours on the smoker and added another hour for resting. The other recipe I have for you could take 4 hours, it could take 8 hours. It all depends on far you turn the dial on your slow cooker.
The Creations
𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡: Garlic Aioli, Caramelized Onions, Smoked Shredded Beef, Gruyere Cheese with a side of Scotch Ale Au Jus.
𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡: Smoked Shredded Beef, Provolone Cheese, Giardiniera with a side of Scotch Ale Au Jus.
𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚: Pizza baked in a Cast with a base of Garlic Aoli, topped with Mozzarella/Parm Mix, Smoked Shredded Beef, Peppadew Peppers, and Arugula.
This recipe for Slow Cooked Shredded Beef lead to 5 total recipes! Some worthy of an entire other post! The sandwiches were absolutely bomb and the pizza, well, the pizza was pretty f***in’ good, too. The biggest issue that you would take slamming these at a Tailgate/Couchgate…you may need a nap after these!

Slow Cooked Shredded Beef (Slow Cooker)
Ingredients
- 3 lb. Chuck Roast
- 2 c. Beef Stock
- 1/2 tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tbsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Thyme
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp. Salt
- 1 tbsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flake (optional)
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients (except Chuck Roast) into sauce pan. Place on burn until boiling.
- Pour mixture into slow cooker and place Chuck Roast.
- Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Once done, pull Bay Leaf out and pour Au Jus into separate bowl. Shred Beef in slow cooker.
- Serve hot on Hoggie Bun with some cheese and a side of your Jus!
Notes
Remove 1/2 c. Beef Stock and add 1/2 c. Dark Beer to slow cooker for an even better Au Jus.
Top Sandwich with Giardiniera and Provolone for and incredible Italian Beef Sanwich.
